the truth is, corn ethanol is less efficient than gasoline, oil refineries are working less than optimal capacity, and global demand for petroleum (i.e. in china) is rising. you want to lower prices? don't blame the gas station for price gouging. instead, stop buying oil-based plastics (e.g. ipods, cell phones, etc.) and start walking.
